I love it here! We had a big party (8) so we were able to reserve a table in advance but it's usually walk in for smaller parties. I had the butternut squash enchilada, the street corn (seasonal special) and the prickly pear margarita. The margarita was nicely balanced and I could tasted the prickly pear. The street corn was very flavorful and fresh -- not too much spice. The enchilada was crispy and delicious with a nice touch with the goat cheese. The chips/salsa/guac weren't anything too special but the service was great and I'll definitely come back!

Large menu, drinks side 1, food side 2. Food is somewhat pricey, but then again, it seems to be the case every where. Service was fine, even a bit intrusive, pushing our party of 3 to (get on with it!) order and be quick about it. Service was fine. Ambience was loud, busy, lots of noise. Cactus caters to the under 30-35 crowd, not to older folks. This is seen by the menu QR code cards at each table, and no spoons. Maybe it's kirkland, but they charge for their chips and salsa. Are they alone, or starting or riding a trend. If you like to spend on somewhat average fare, this could be your place.

tl;dr - good tacos, quite loud inside, food comes out quick My wife and I frequent here because we enjoy the tacos, specifically the camarones (shrimp). All tacos have a single tortilla but they are handmade and robust enough to not break. Tacos also come with a side of rice and black beans. The rice is soft and nicely seasoned with a crunch from some pumpkin seeds. The black beans are soft and moist with a hint of cumin. The Camarones Tacos have pieces of nice crispy shrimp and a diablo sauce that is creamy with a little spicy kick. I wanted to try something different last night so I went with the Baja Fish Tacos. They have a crunchy battered piece of white fish with breading that feels more like breadcrumb instead of beer batter. Also there's a sweetness in them from some fruit that needed something to balance out like some spiciness or stronger seasoning. Overall I did enjoy the fish taco but the Camarones taco is still the winner for me. I don't think anything has changed but during my last few visits I felt like the interior was a bit loud and a bit cramped. If the weather is nice next time I visit, I'll try the outdoor patio.

One of the places that don't close at 9pm! Service was a bit slow and food was good, not amazing. I got the Quintessential Sante Fe, which is a breakfast item but the tortilla at the bottom was a bit tough to eat. The Chile Relleno was good. Since it was my first time at Cactus, the lovely waiters gave me a dessert on the house! Big space and great for large parties.

After NAMI 5k we walked over to have brunch. We were seated immediately. Staff were friendly and bathrooms were clean. Being our first time they offered us dessert. My husband said it was delicious. My husband also had chicken and waffles which he complemented the butter and enjoyed his plate. We shared the other dishes and we have no complaints just complementing the hands that prepared each meal that nourished our body.
